Three Marlborough Debaters Win NSDA's Academic All American Award

Marlborough's Lincoln-Douglas Debate Team is proud to announce that Mia C. '18, Zoe W. '18 and Sophia D. '19 have been awarded with the National Speech & Debate Association's (NSDA) Academic All American award!

The award recognizes academic rigor, competitive speech and debate success and personal excellence, requiring the student to have completed at least five semesters of high school, earned the decree of Superior Distinction in the NSDA's Honor Society (a total of 750 or more merit points), achieved rigorous criteria for GPA/test score requirements, and demonstrated outstanding character and leadership.

The National Speech & Debate Association has more than 141,000 student members from which fewer than 500 students earn this top award each year, placing award winners among the top half of one-percent of all student members across the country.
