Civil Rights Trip: "Through My Eyes"
This summer, students embarked on a journey to the South to learn about the history and sights of the Civil Rights Movement.
This summer, Marlborough students had the opportunity to participate in two educational tours chaperoned by our faculty. These trips, often described as eye-opening, gave our students an inside look into the historical journey of our country. One tour, the Civil Rights Trip to the South, traced parts of the Civil Rights Movement where the struggle for equality ensued. Traveling through Memphis, TN, Selma, AL, and Atlanta, GA, students experienced the sights, the learnings, and the history of a movement that sparked a cultural revolution.
