Julia A. '17 Wins Research Program Poster Competition

Julia Alexander was one of three winners in the Cedars Sinai research poster day with her presentation of "The Effect of Repeat Traumatic Brain Injury in Rodent Models of ALS."

On August 5th, Cedars Sinai presented their second annual research poster day for high school and college students enrolled in the laboratory and clinical research summer program.

Julia A. '17, a participant in the program, was one of three winners chosen from the 52 total posters for her presentation of "The Effect of Repeat Traumatic Brain Injury in Rodent Models of ALS."

Dr. Eric Ley, Department of Surgery, referred to Julia's five minute oral presentation as a "graduate level presentation."

The distinguished panel of sixteen judges included Dr. Leon Fine, Vice Dean and Chair of Biomedical Science, and Dr. Harry Sax, Vice Chairman of the Surgery Department.
