Five Marlborough students Receive Girls Scout Gold Award

Megan C. '19, Emily A. '19, Camille B. '19, Annemarie D. '18, and Emma K. '19 received the Girl Scout Gold Award on June 2, 2018.

The Gold Award is the highest honor in Girl Scouts, recognizing girls who have "demonstrated extraordinary leadership through remarkable Take Action projects that have sustainable impact in their communities and beyond".

These Take Action projects focus on solving a community problem. Each girl must identify a community issue, investigate it thoroughly, form a team to support her through the project, create a plan to tackle the root cause of the issue, take action, and then share her story and results.
