Entering the Cosmos

Due to an increased interest in the program from seventh and eighth-grade students, Cosmos becomes Marlborough’s third robotics team, along with the Marlbots and Team Curiosity.

This fall, a new team joined the Marlborough robotics family. Due to an increased interest in the program from seventh and eighth-grade students, Cosmos becomes Marlborough’s third robotics team, along with the Marlbots and Team Curiosity. Cosmos is off to a great start. At their initial practice event in November, they ended in sixth place out of 15, and they performed very well at their first tournament of the year in early December, winning four out of five matches.

It is fun watching the tournaments and getting to know other people in FTC. It was difficult to stay calm when things broke, but when we took a moment to regain our composure, we were able to be efficient and successfully fix things. People on the team worked on the robot during lunches, after-school, and during their study periods, which really helped us make progress.
