Over 800 Guests Fete Marlborough at the School's 125th Birthday Bash

Stevie Wonder shared a special musical birthday message while guests enjoyed dinner under the stars and live music during this "once-in-a-125-years" celebration

As the sun set on Booth Field on October 11, over 800 guests arrived at Marlborough to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the School's founding. A delicious dinner prepared by award-winning chef Suzanne Goin '84 was served while families, alumnae, employees, and friends of the school enjoyed a touching video tribute, a very special musical message from the legendary Stevie Wonder, and a live performance from singer Zella Day. Two breathtaking cakes were sliced--one of the original Marlborough schoolhouse from 1889 and one of the School as it stands today--and a slideshow of photos from the last 125 years took guests on a trip through time.
