Growth in Our Community: Fresh Faces and New Roles

Marlborough’s campus is buzzing with excitement as the community welcomes new members of the faculty and staff (affectionately known as “staculty”) and celebrates expanded roles for some of our returning staculty.  During New Employee Orientation, the newest members of the Marlborough community spent time on campus getting to know each other and current students, and learning more about Marlborough’s unique culture ahead of the first day of school. We are happy to shine a spotlight on the newest members of our community and honor those who are taking on exciting new challenges.

Growth Within Our Community
Marlborough is proud to recognize career advancements for returning members of our community. These new roles reflect the School’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing the staculty with growth opportunities. Each of these educators has shown exceptional dedication and skill in their previous roles, and their readiness to take on new challenges is met with excitement and gratitude.

  • Meghan Bernstein ’11, Interim Director of Marketing and Communications
    • Ms. Bernstein has been a member of the Marlborough staculty since 2018. With her deeply entrenched passion for the Marlborough community, she steps into the role of Interim Director of Marketing and Communications—leading the Communications Office and continuing to share the incredible stories of Marlborough.
  • Monica DePriest, Dean of the Class of 2029
    • In addition to continuing her dedicated work as Dean of College Counseling, Mrs. DePriest will serve as a Class Dean during the 2025-2026 school year. In her 26th year at Marlborough, she will expertly guide the Class of 2029 through 9th Grade with her expansive knowledge and passion for the community.
  • Adan Gonzalez, Senior Facilities Engineer
    • Mr. Gonzalez has been a member of the facilities team at Marlborough since 2016 as a Facilities Engineer. Mr. Gonzalez’s expanded role as Senior Facilities Engineer reflects increased involvement with project scheduling, vendor management, community projects, and in-house repairs. 
  • Jocelyn Jo, Human Resources Assistant
    • Miss Jo joined Marlborough as Human Resources Intern after earning her MBA from Cal State Long Beach. She will remain a member of the staculty community as Human Resources Assistant in this expanded role supporting the HR Office.
  • Alex Mohr, Global Futures Institute Program Head
    • In addition to serving as a History Instructor, Ms. Mohr will now take on the role of Global Futures Institute (GFI) Program Head. GFI is an interdisciplinary, three-year commitment to the futures of democracy, the futures of the environment, and the futures of global societies. 
  • Ashley Muñoz, Dean of the Class of 2031
    • While continuing her role as an English Instructor, Ms. Muñoz will be the Dean for the Class of 2031. As Dean, she will guide the Class of 2031 through their 7th-grade year, building connections and providing our newest Violets all the support they need.
  • Katherine Pollock, Dean of the Class of 2028
    • Ms. Pollock will continue teaching History and Social Sciences at Marlborough and will add Dean of the Class of 2028 to her responsibilities. As Class Dean, she will lead the Class of 2028 through their Sophomore year, deepening their class connections to one another and providing meaningful student support.
  • Anna Robinson, History & Social Sciences Department Head
    • Since 2017, Ms. Robinson has served as an English Instructor and History and Social Sciences Instructor at Marlborough. After also serving as a Class Dean for several years, Ms. Robinson will pivot her focus to be the History & Social Sciences Department Head, a resource for her colleagues and a guiding force for the department. 

The energy and expertise of our newest hires, combined with the continued leadership of those who have been promoted or taken on additional responsibilities, create a powerful force for innovation and growth. We are excited to see what they will accomplish in their new roles and look forward to the continued journey ahead, together.
