Each of these educators has shown exceptional dedication and skill in their previous roles, and their readiness to take on new challenges is met with excitement and gratitude.

  • Dr. Kendall Beeman, Dean of Students
    • While continuing to serve as a History Instructor, Dr. Beeman will also be taking on the role of Dean of Students. Often describing her job as the “Dean of Fun,” she oversees student life at Marlborough, planning exciting activities like Spirit Week and Pumpkin Day, and enforcing school rules and upholding community expectations. By deftly navigating both aspects of the role, the Dean of Students builds connections with students and contributes to discussions related to student support.
  • Dr. Morgan Duggan, Director of Educational and Counseling Services
    • After first serving as Marlborough’s School Psychologist, Dr. Duggan stepped into the role of Interim Director of Educational and Counseling Services just before the start of the 2023-2024 school year. As Interim, Dr. Duggan deftly navigated the myriad responsibilities of the role and served as an invaluable support to students and employees. Head of School Jennifer Ciccarelli proudly made the appointment permanent at the end of the school year and Dr. Duggan will continue her important work with our community.
  • Taryn Marshall, Program Head for Violets for Building Equity in Education (ViBEE) Fellowship Program
    • In addition to being a dedicated member of our History Department, Ms. Marshall will now be taking on this leadership role for ViBEE. This initiative directly supports Marlborough’s vision by creating a pipeline of Black and African-American alumnae educators, ensuring that all of our students see themselves reflected in those who guide and teach them. The ViBEE Fellowship is a vital component of our broader commitment to equity. It allows us to cultivate a learning environment where all students can thrive, free from the pressures of toxic achievement and supported by a diverse community of role models who inspire and uplift them.
  • Dr. Alison Ponzio, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation
    • Dr. Ponzio wears many hats at school. She is the Leonetti/O'Connell Honors Research in Science Program Head, a Science Instructor, and—after a year as the Interim Director—the Director of the Shari and Edward Glazer Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. In these many different roles, Dr. Ponzio works passionately with students and staculty to promote the importance of a solid education in STEM, the power of entrepreneurial thinking, and the innovation that lies in creative problem solving.
  • Regina Rosi Mitchell, Head of Upper School
    • As a dedicated community member of over 15 years, Ms. Rosi Mitchell began her journey at Marlborough as a Spanish Instructor. Two Master’s degrees and countless community-wide contributions later, Ms. Rosi Mitchell is now stepping into the role of Head of Upper School after first serving as the Interim Upper School Division Head. In this role, she partners with Marlborough educators and students’ parents and guardians to raise holistic, well-rounded, kind, thoughtful humans. Ms. Rosi Mitchell knows that it is not just about being a good student; it is about creating good people. People who are curious, compassionate, engaged, lifelong learners.

As the new school year begins, there is a great sense of optimism and excitement. The blend of fresh talent and experienced leadership promises to make this year one of growth, innovation, and achievement.

To all Marlborough staculty, both new and returning, welcome (back)! . Your passion for education and commitment to each student’s success is what makes the School truly special. Here's to a year of learning, discovery, and shared accomplishments!
