Fourteen Marlborough students are honored with a total of 33 Scholastic Art Awards.

Each year, the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards are presented to exceptional students from around the country by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, a nonprofit organization whose mission it is “to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent” and recognize them through these awards. This year, 14 Marlborough students have been honored with a total of 33 Scholastic Art Awards, the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. Student works are adjudicated by jurors who look for works that exemplify the Awards’ core values of originality, skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision.
 
Marlborough students were awarded nine Gold Key awards, 11 Silver Key awards, and 13 Honorable Mention awards. The full list of awards include:
  • Ela D. ’24 – two Silver Key awards in photography
  • Ria D. ’26 – one Gold Key award in fashion
  • Siena G. ’25 – one Gold Key award in photography
  • Emily H. ’24 – one Gold Key, one Silver Key, and three Honorable Mention awards in photography
  • Katie H. ’23 – one Silver Key award and one Honorable Mention award in painting
  • Brielle L. ’24 – one Silvery Key award in mixed media and one Honorable Mention award in painting
  • Jean L. ’27 – one Gold Key award in drawing and illustration and one Silver Key award in painting
  • Annie P. ’24 – one Gold Key award and one Silver Key award in photography
  • Ava P. ’25 – two Gold Key awards and one Honorable Mention award in mixed media, one Silver Key award in sculpture, and two Honorable Mention awards in photography
  • Wyeth R. ’24 – one Gold Key award in mixed media
  • Lior R. ’24 – one Honorable Mention award in photography
  • Clarissa R. ’23 – one Honorable Mention award in photography
  • Stella V. ’23 – one Gold Key award, one Silver Key award, and one Honorable Mention award in mixed media; one Silver Key award in digital art; and one Honorable Mention in sculpture
  • Sabine W. ’23 – one Silver Key award in mixed media and one Honorable Mention award in architecture and industrial design
