2026 Visual Arts Senior Thesis Exhibition

The Marlborough Visual Arts Department proudly opened the 2026 Senior Thesis Exhibition with a joyous reception on March 2. The show is a beautiful, thoughtful collection of art from 18 graduating Seniors. Their portfolios showcase their dedication and creative expression in a range of media, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and more.

Logan M. ’26 shared the impact of the Visual Arts Department and this opportunity to present a portfolio: “When I selected Drawing & Painting [1 and 2] as my freshman year art course, I was scared of my love for art diminishing into a school requirement, but that fear couldn’t have [been] further from the truth. I learned how to expand my practice across mediums and techniques I would have only dreamed of, and I was welcomed into one of my dearest communities at Marlborough. Through the sincere encouragement from my peers and teachers, they implored me to continue each year, thus becoming the reason I was able to fulfill my previously thought impossible dream of proudly presenting my Senior Thesis portfolio.”

Members of the Class of 2026 presenting their portfolios include Sophia C., Ria D., Jane D., Noa F., Violet G., Alexandra H., Sydney K., Jackie L., JJ M., Karenna M., Logan M., Arlo M.-B., Elsy R., Sonia H. S., Penny S., Nex U., Eva V., and Grey W. Their work is on view in Seaver Gallery through March 27.
