This season the Varsity Tennis team went all the way through to the CIF-SS Division I finals. What was your favorite moment of the Varsity Tennis season?

There were so many great moments of the season. My favorite off-court memory is our team bonding where we played games and went to karaoke. My favorite on-court memory is our CIF semifinal match against Camarillo where it was a very close match and our entire team was nervously watching the final two deciding matches. The excitement and running on to the court when we won is a great memory.

How does it fell to be selected Team Most Valuable Player and named the MIssion League Singles MVP?

It is a great honor and I feel privileged to have had such a fun and successful season.  I was happy to win and represent Marlborough in the Mission League!

Along with playing for Marlborough, you also compete in numerous United States Tennis Association tournaments throughout the year, You recently won the 117th Annual Jim Hillman Southern California Junior Sectional Doubles Championships Girls 18. What inspires you to take on these challenges?

It was a really exciting win and it was even more exciting to share it was a good friend. Tennis is so demanding physically and mentally, but moments like winning doubles sectionals or any other tournament are so rewarding. One thing that inspired me is my goal of playing college tennis. I love completing and I love the team environment, and I work hard to be the best possible teammate.
