Film & Video
Lights. Camera. Your Perspective.
Marlborough’s Film & Video classes are a space where students learn to speak the language of cinema—visually, emotionally, and intellectually. Whether crafting narrative shorts, experimental films, or animated sequences, students develop the skills to plan, shoot, and edit compelling stories while also engaging deeply with the cultural and critical dimensions of film. Here, filmmaking is not just about entertainment—it’s about expression, authorship, and voice.
A Studio for Storytelling
In hands-on production courses, students explore every phase of filmmaking—from scripting and shot design to sound mixing, editing, and visual effects. Using professional software like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop, they create original work across genres, including narrative, documentary, experimental, and animation. As their skills grow, so does their ambition: advanced students take on larger productions, collaborate in teams, and develop festival-ready films and Senior thesis projects that reflect their personal interests and creative vision.
