Shape, Build, and Transform—One Piece at a Time

Ceramics classes invite students to explore the dynamic, hands-on world of clay. From functional pieces to sculptural works, students develop a deep understanding of form, surface, and structure through wheel throwing, hand-building, and experimental techniques.

Whether you're just beginning or looking to refine your skills, classes offer a supportive environment where creativity, craftsmanship, and self-expression come together. With access to a fully equipped ceramics studio—including pottery wheels, kilns, and a range of tools—students bring their ideas to life from start to fired finish.

Student Experience

Ceramics classes are open to students of all levels and foster a supportive, collaborative environment. As students develop confidence with materials and tools, they’re encouraged to take creative risks, explore personal ideas, and build a portfolio of finished work. Pieces are featured in student art exhibitions in Seaver Gallery throughout the year.
