Discover Marlborough
In Brief
Where Girls Take the Lead and Make Their Mark
Marlborough isn’t just a school—it’s a launchpad for bold thinkers, trailblazers, and changemakers. Here, girls push boundaries, ask big questions, and embrace challenges with confidence. Learning is rigorous, but it’s also dynamic, collaborative, and—yes—fun.
You may be wondering, what makes Marlborough...well...Marlborough? There's no one way to define a Marlborough girl, or a Marlborough education. But here are a few things that make us uniquely extraordinary.
Fearless Thinkers, Infinite Possibilities
Curious minds don’t fit into a single box—and neither do we. At Marlborough, ambition and creativity go hand in hand. Our students don't just learn about the world—they shape it. Whether it's passing laws in California, designing award-winning robots, researching solutions for climate change in our Honors Research in Science program, crafting compelling arguments on our nationally-ranked debate team, or winning CIF-SS championships, our students embrace big challenges with bold ideas. They lead, they question, they build, they create—and they have fun doing it. Whatever your passion, at Marlborough, you matter, and you figure out what matters to you.
A Community That Champions Each Other
Ambition thrives in an environment where girls lift each other up, fostering a culture of support and collaboration. Whether rallying behind a classmate’s artistic debut in the Seaver Gallery, cheering on our student-actors in a preview of the spring musical during an All-School Meeting, or launching initiatives that drive real social change, Marlborough students know that success is best when it is shared.
Balance That Powers Brilliance
At Marlborough, wellbeing is the foundation for deep learning, strong relationships, and a fulfilling school experience. Students thrive when they feel seen and supported, which is why programs like Peers Are Listening (PALs) and Student Council Wellbeing Representatives foster a culture of mentorship and care. Advisory and Homeroom provide space for reflection and connection, while the Methodologies for Academic Success (MAPS) curriculum helps 7th and 8th graders develop essential self-management and relationship skills. With dedicated mentors and a culture that values both ambition and balance, Marlborough students don’t just succeed—they flourish.
A Future Fueled by Confidence
Marlborough graduates don’t just enter the world—they shape it. Our alumnae have become trailblazers in fields ranging from medicine to media, launching innovative startups, leading Fortune 500 companies, and advocating for policy change. Whether attending top universities like Stanford and Columbia or securing internships with organizations across Los Angeles, our students graduate knowing they have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to forge their own paths.
There’s no single way to define Marlborough...
...because at Marlborough, individuality is celebrated. But one thing is certain: our students don’t just keep up with the world. They redefine it.
