We know that transportation in a big and busy city like Los Angeles can be a challenge. To make it easier - and more fun - to get to campus, we provide a safe, convenient and comprehensive bus transportation program that brings students from Pasadena to the Palisades and from Santa Monica to the South Bay.
Wherever you're traveling from and whether your child will join our middle school or high school, we invite your family to learn more about the benefits of a girls' school and about Marlborough's unique offerings, including a robust STEM & Entrepreneurship curriculum and Honors Research opportunities.
At Marlborough, students come to our campus from over 100 zip codes throughout the greater Los Angeles area close to 200 students travel to school via bus each school year via our eight routes throughout the city:

Don't see a route near you? We are committed to ensuring that no barrier stands between a qualified student and a Marlborough education. Email Scott Appel, Auxiliary Services Manager, and we can look into new route possibilities.
Families can choose round trip or one-way service. In addition, students can purchase daily passes. Financial aid is applied to the cost of bus transportation. For the 2019-2020 school year, the cost of bus transportation was as follows:
Round Trip Service: $3,100
One-Way Service: $1,550
Senior Reduced Rate: $250
Morning pick up times range from 7:00-7:50 am, depending on location. Marlborough offers two afternoon bus departures. The first leaves right after school; the second departs at 5:30 pm.
Marlborough provides the SafeStop mobile app to better connect parents with the buses transporting their children. SafeStop features neighborhood maps and a map view bus locator. Using GPS technology, the app updates every 30 seconds to help determine when the bus will reach your family's stop.

My favorite part of the bus ride is the students. We always have really good conversations and older students give advice to younger students on classes, how to handle workload, etc. It's like your own little support system! - Marcella T. '22
