Marlborough Contributes to Hurricane Harvey Donation Drive
The Marlborough community donated supplies to Magic Johnson & West Angeles Church Hurricane Harvey donation drive.
In the wake of Hurricane Harvey the Los Angeles Lakers donated $100,000 to relief efforts. Former player and current President of Basketball Operations Magic Johnson went one step further and partnered with the West Angeles Church to organize a donation drive.
The Marlborough community collected and contributed feminine hygiene products, adult diapers, baby diapers, and baby wipes to the drive effort. Marlborough's Community Outreach Program Head Pamela Wright delivered the supplies to West Angeles Church where UPS picked up items and is shipping donations to Houston for free.
For more information about the drive check out this article and video on LakersNation.com.
